Hi,
I've finally decided to have a look at my MS9 problem: the picture is slightly vibrating/jittering horizontally on the right half of the screen. Quite annoying with text and still images. The left half is perfectly stable.
I've tried the obvious:
In case it was interference:
-Unplug bulb/ballast
-Unplug speakers/take out monitor
-Unplug demag coil
-Move stepdown converter
-Try another stepdown converter
-Check horizontal hold pot
-Adjust B+
-Adjust ABL
-Visually inspect chassis for obvious bad caps/solder joints (the chassis was bought from giz10p and was refurbished by him in 2012)
One thing I noticed is that when adjusting down B+/brightness/contrast the picture is stable, but way too dark of course.
Any hints on what I could do next? Is it PSU or chassis related?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Re: MS9-29A unstable picture on right side
Would be good to see it on video. I think I have the same Problem with my Toshiba PF, only it´s the lower half of the screen in my case.
´So I´m also very interested in a solition.

Re: MS9-29A unstable picture on right side
I've tried to film it but it's impossible to clearly see the issue when using a phone. It's a subtle jitter that doesn't seem to be visible when filmed, but when you're sitting in front of the cab it's very annoying.
In order to discard other possible factors, today I used a UPS to power the cab and have a "clean" power source. Problem still there.

This seems to be exactly the same problem as with my monitor. Very subtle jitter. Only the lower half in my case as stated before.
I really hope for a solution. I had not that much time to take care of it since i got the monitor a few mounth ago.

Re: MS9-29A unstable picture on right side
Problem solved it was a leaky cap that I hadn't seen first. C955 was replaced and the screen was perfect again.
Hope it might help you Shadolf, it might just be a leaky cap like me.
