My NNC currently has a Wei-ya M3192D monitor.
It seems pretty nice to me but its original Toshiba PF D29C051 would be a lot better. Or at least I think so.
Am I right? I mean, is it really worth spending some top cash to swap them? I know a whole cab would be cheaper in comparison, but that's not the point right now
Would a Nanao MS-2931 be a better idea?
Since I've got no use of the 15 and 24 khz, I was also thinking about getting a 31khz only monitor.
The Wiki reads that the Naomis carried either a Nanao MS-2932-S or a Sanwa 29E31S.
Which one is better?
Are they better than my Wei-Ya?
Is there a 31khz only monitor better than them?
Lastly, are they both curved, requiring me to change the bezel, or a flat version also exists?
Thanks all for your imputs, I'm really lost ._.
Naomi monitors, help me sorting this out!

Re: Naomi monitors, help me sorting this out!
My Experience with Wei Ya Monitors made me never want to see one ever again!!
out of the two Naomi monitors the Nanao is by far the better one
for your application I would rate monitors in this order from best to worst
Toshiba PF,
Sanwa PFX
Nanao MS2932
Sanwa 29E31S
the tosh and the PFX are both pure flat monitors and will drop into the NNC without any issues the other 2 ar curved and need a different bezel

The Sanwa 29E31S is terrible. Avoid it at all costs.
In great condition the autosyncing trisync in a regular Net City is as good as the Tosh IMO. They're also in some Blasts, so are somewhat more available than other monitors.

You really want a Tosh PF, Mo at Videotronics maybe has one in stock.
The Nanao MS-2932-S is also very good and can be converted into an MS9 (15kHz monitor) if you have the MS9 yoke and chassis.

Yup. Getting one soon. They are expensive, shipping costs a leg but who cares. Money spent for stuff you love is never wastedmonouchi wrote:This.Brettster wrote:My Experience with Wei Ya Monitors made me never want to see one ever again!!
