No idea.

Pretty sure most HL Vewlix have been converted to regular Vewlix. Even riverservice offered a kit for that.

Lindys in the USA are about $1200 or lower; they're a hard sell since the screens are known for failing. I've never seen a sale on a Half Life VLX, I'd be curious on the price of that too.

also Keep in mind, there are two Screen Revision. Only Rev2 has a Zoom/Fill Option, Rev 1 will give you black borders on Type-X2 Games for example.

Really? Should typex games be same resolution? Is there any panel that would do for screen replacement?
Jan I guess you have both. Which one would you say is sturdier and better built?

TX2 Games run in 720p.

you mean Lindy vs Vewlix ?

it basicly Comes down to:

- Vewlix can be tated
- the Panel hight of the Vewlix is a bit higher than your usual Candy, while the Lindy has exactly the same hight.
- Spare Parts (i.e. Body Parts, Panels, etc) are easier to source for the Lindy
- the lindy is heavier but more compact
- the vewlix is alot easier and faster to disassemble
- the Rev. 2 original Screen of the Lindy is on par with the Sanwa Screen of the F, if it is working properly
- the Vewlix has a seperate compartment for your game pcb, in general it is imo more accessible
- marquee and movesheet backlight is standart in the Lindy, while it is optional on many Vewlix Cabs

but all in all it is complaining on a vewy high Level. Both are very good cab.

also worth mentioning, the Lindy JVS i/o won`t give you any Trouble, like the one in the Noir.

how much is akai katana art worth? I've got the marquee sheet, instruction sheet and instruction strip which has been snapped and taped together where a normal sticker one would have been folded.

also what is a fair price for a ketsui board?

SDOJ is pretty bad, but when I used to play it in a Japanese arcade I never really noticed because it's so noisy in there anyway. That's probably why Cave never cared to spend a bit more money to make the PCBs output better sound quality.

The overdriven sound is so bad on that one though, like DFK doesn't sound anywhere near that overdriven. I wonder if it's because of mixing a stereo mix down to mono causes the clip?

Never had any problem with DFK, but when recording SDOJ for a 1cc I first thought there was something wrong with my capture set up.
Though listening to the game on the 360 is a bliss. :)
