That seller is notorious for taking pictures from Japanese PCB retailers and listing them on eBay.
He's selling games which he doesn't even have in hand.

Re: You've Got Grail!?? AKA The Valuation Thread
That is a common business model in Japan. Many reseller like "where is my obi" are using the same pictures from Rakuten, or even random pictures and are selling the items on eBay.zak wrote:That seller is notorious for taking pictures from Japanese PCB retailers and listing them on eBay.

Not sure if those are USD or Euros, but either way they seem high. If you are quoting Euros, they seem ridiculously high. A boxed Futari 1.5 kit just sold here for $1250 USD, for example. And the last Mushihimesama PCB on YAJ sold for about $600 USD a week or two ago.geosnow wrote:

USD. mint FK is worth more than used FK. We need pictures with poster, pcb, all. You need to know that from Mushi there were no reprints. That is why the arts are expensive.EOJ wrote:Not sure if those are USD or Euros, but either way they seem high. If you are quoting Euros, they seem ridiculously high. And he needs to make sure that no reseller is buying it. That is what I learned here. You sell cheap and it will be for sale months later for 50% more.

Yes, I know. But IMO not to the degree you suggest.geosnow wrote: USD. mint FK is worth more than used FK.
Yep.We need pictures with poster, pcb, all.
I am well aware. I am also aware they made a ton of Mushi kits in the first place. You need to know that from Mushi there were no reprints.
Yes, but show me where the art alone has sold for $1000+ and I will believe you on your valuation. Valuations should be based on reality, in other words, verifiable sales (and more than one! One could just be a fluke). That is why the arts are expensive.
