Hey guys - Mark, Jan. :)

Well, I'm the one in Brazil causing the hassle and all. Not intended, of course. I really hope we can work things out, it's just not possible to buy candy cabs here in Brazil, there's none, simple like that. :(

Please, don't give up on me! As soon as we find a way, next time will be much easier! :D

I contacted DB Schenkerl, let's see what they say.

have you considered to get a container load, like 10-12 Cabs from HK ? this will definitly the the easiest and cheapest way.

I was watching this show called shipping wars. It's a show where (ground)shippers compete to offer the lowest price for shipment on a website called Uship.com . So i just checked and it also has a uship.co.uk.
As far as i know you can put down the specs of the shipment, measurments, weight, origin, destination, date and every shipping company that is connected to the website can bid on it (lower to compete). But as far as i've seen on the show you do not have to choose the lowest if you don't like their feedback/rating.
Personally I haven't used it yet but am planning to do so as soon as i have a cab to ship.
Hope it helps.

I heard a rumor that Martin has had tail problems lately & has been delayed as a result.

Great! I didn't know there were other websites like it. Shiply looks even better because it's UK based, whereas uship is mainly US i suppose.

uship is international; There is a uship.nl as well, Jinxz. And they even have the option of selecting 'Arcade Machine' for the type of object that you want to have transported. Cool ;-)

Another thumbs up here for Martin  :awe:

Very helpful and friendly chap - a pleasure to chat to as well. He treated both the cab I was sending and the one he was delivering very considerately and with great respect.

The whole process was made effortless by his service and I can't recommend him highly enough

Very well priced too

Hey all, dont know if people have used the site for Cabs, but Ive just used www.anyvan.com so shift a load of stuff from Amsterdam back to the UK (house stuff before anyone jumps on that!!!). Basically, you put the details of what youre moving, from where to where and when, and people bid on the job. Lowest price normally wins, but drivers have feedback the same as on eBay, so for me, it was perfect. Hope it helps!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a courier in the US? I want to ship 4 cabs from Florida to Washington, and uship.com seems to think that's worth $2500. I could import cabs from overseas for cheaper!

Just to update, I got a shipping bid of $1400, which is not that bad, but I'd still be interested to know if there's another option in the states for shipping.

Id like to recive a cabinet from UK to Spain. The seller don't have the packaging materials to pack it safely for international transit.
What can i do?

Please give me a hand
