Favour request: US resident to order and ship to UK

Postby pubjoe » March 10th, 2017, 12:19 am

My son wants the new Binding of Isaac game for Switch.

I don't think it's been announced for a Europe release.

Any chance a nice member could preorder it for me and ship it on? Dunno the best retailer to use.

You can order it on Amazon.com for import.

Thanks a lot supabok. I'll send you a PM.

I've heard about the Amazon thing - use any random US address at sign up then correct the shipping and billing address after - but I thought shipping/duty costs might get a bit high and when I looked yesterday they were out of stock anyway.

You just log in with your UK Amazon account. It needs a credit card open for international purchases.

Been doing it for years.

Works on EU Amazon stores too. There's even a button to show the pages in English. It's fine for Marketplace purchases too.

Ahhh, thanks. I think I heard about the US address thing in the 90s.

I don't have a credit card though.

Unavailable though at the moment, you're right. Got in the moment I heard there was going to be a limited physical release.

"Limited edition" might actually have a true meaning for a change.

Nath loves Isaac games. He's in the hundreds of hours on Steam.

Set it up on the cab the other day. Fits quite nicely at around 400x288
