Hello. Just picked up a Astro City cab that is in need of a good cleaning. What is the best way to clean one? Best products?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Re: Astro City cleaning
For me the best way to give them a thorough cleaning is to completely strip it down, take the 3 main parts of the fiberglass shell (lower front, back and monitor surround/upper front) into the garden, squish them with CIF kitchen cleaner. Use a brush to agitate the cleaner inside and out, then blast it clean with a hosepipe.
Leave to dry and then use T-cut and Polish to buff it up.

I'd never use something like CIF, it contains sand parts so it will grind your paint. Unless we're talking about different CIF here. I'd just use a (dunno the proper word here) degrease liquid instead.

Re: Astro City cleaning
there is a liquid cif used to clean kitchens and other for bathrooms. i just cleaned mine with the kitchen one and works like a charm.
normal cif is a sanding liquid so i wouldnt use it unless you want it to look matte.
also : isopropilic alcohol and /or flamer liquid for removing adhesives.
and saliva to remove candy XD
