Wiring a Credit Button

Post by whitecomet »

Need some help with creating a credit button for my VTS credit board.

Is it possible to create a loom to a standard 30mm button which will act as a coin being dropped?

This is what board I have...

Sure it's possible. You would just have to figure out where the pin for the credit input is.

Alternatively, you could just wire the button straight into the game board / JVS IO. If it's JVS, it's pin 45 on the 60pin AMP RA connector. Wire the other button terminal to it, the other to GND (pins 9-15).

Is it for House of the Dead? There's most likely a schematic in the operator's manual.
