Alibaba Vewlix clone manufacturer recommendations?

Post by Sabih »

Hey guys,

I've had my heart set on getting a Vewlix for quite a while now. I really wanted to get a genuine Vewlix from Japan, but after a few enquiries, it appears that this will likely end up being a $7,000 exercise, so ive settled on a Chinese clone.

I'm looking to source one from one of the many Taito Vewlix clone manufacturers on Alibaba. It looks like I can have one landed here in New Zealand for around $1,500.

Now, from my research, it appears that the Vewlix clones differ a fair bit in quality - from being very close to the genuine Japanese models right through to being complete garbage.

I'm hoping to get some recommendations from anyone who has recently ordered a Vewlix from Alibaba and can recommend a manufacturer that produces their clones in the best possible quality.

I'm currently in discussions with a sales rep from Potech Technology. They've offered me the best price so far. Any feedback in these guys?

WD Electronics seem to have been around the longest of the Vewlix manufacturers on Alibaba. Any feedback on their quality?

Any help on this would be much appreciated. Keen to get the best possible clone I can.

Thanks!

Thanks guys. Looks like I'd better not consider Shadaloo based on the feedback.

No ideas on Alibaba suppliers then? Might have to just take a punt and ask for a lot of photos.

Any tips on what I should look out for in particular?

Yeah? I keep a close eye on the trademe arcade section but I've never seen a Vewlix. How long ago was this?
