Finally got one of these suckers :D
Hey all, I'm new to this forum and new to candy cabs altogether. A few days ago I traded my sega club kart for a new Astro city and I love it! The monitor has some wonkyness( curves in the top left and top right of the screen) but looks good nonetheless. Im sure I'll get some help here on the forum as to what to do with that
My first question is what kind of buttons/ joystick are these ? The joystick feels good but the buttons are extremely light ! There's no markings on them at all to tell me if it's sanwa or seimitsu.
As you can see I need a second player harness and the extra button harness since I'm going to add 6 buttons a side. Also the tumbler on the left side control panel lock was removed so it turns by hand freely lol

They are both Seimitsu, the stick is an LS-32.

Re: Finally got one of these suckers :D
And good luck finding a Sega mounting plate for the other LS-32 , (that is if you don't already have it lol) otherwise the joystick will sit too low on the CP, Seimitsu NA mounting plate won't do, the joystick will sat like 0,5cm lower than on the Sega one:
Seimitsu to the left, Sega to the right, if you end up getting a Seimitsu plate you'll need to drill screw holes.
It wont suppose a problem if you don't mind a very short joystick which will depend on your grip, otherwise there are shaft extenders for the LS-32, but you'll be better off getting a Sanwa JLF with a P-1S mounting plate instead.

Re: Finally got one of these suckers :D
I'm already having trouble finding pink buttons :/ everywhere I've looked so far has 1-2 in stock -_- the joystick I found and I want it to be the exact same as the 1p joystick because I love the feel of it.but nope no mounting plate sadly but that link looks promising, if I need it I'm buying!
Is there a site that has everything ? (Buttons, joystick, harness) Like this I'm paying shipping from 2-3 different sites and this is adding up nicely x_x
Edit : now that I looked at the cp again, there are some mounting tabs for the 2p side , will that suffice or does the sega mounting plate bolt up to that ?

wow , thanks Ross.Rossyra wrote:http://www.leshoparcade.com/fiche_produ ... r-Seimitsucopados33 wrote:And good luck finding a Sega mounting plate for the other LS-32
You'll need the mounting plate to bolt the joystick into the CP mounting tabs, look at the 1p joystick that you already have, that metal part underneath the joystick trestle is not a part of it "per se", but an accesory, new joysticks do not include them from factory, you need to buy it apart.Hrvat9 wrote:x

Re: Finally got one of these suckers :D
This was my solution, mounts to the correct height (pic is a JLF but I think I can do the same with a LS32 stick).

Thanks but no thanks , that thing is way too thick, judging from that pic it looks like it eats 1cm of the joystick shaft.

Re: Finally got one of these suckers :D
The 3D printed spacers make the stick shaft protude exactly 24mm, and according to Per from Akishop, ir must be between 23 and 25mm
I will see if I can design one for LS-32 sticks

If you can that would be dope! I'd buy if I couldn't get my hands on an original and I'm sure others would too!FcoBenitez wrote:The 3D printed spacers make the stick shaft protude exactly 24mm, and according to Per from Akishop, ir must be between 23 and 25mm
