- Taito Vewlix D and Chinese Vewlix L lack the top flat speakers. They have a 4 regular speaker configuration. Taito Vewlix L, F and C have a 2 regular speaker + 2 flat speakers.
- The Body of Vewlix L F C is black and the body of vewlix D is white.
Version 1.2:
- Taito Vewlix D Dia Screen seems to be made by IPS Alpha Technology thou. Neo_Arcadia
- Chinese I/O does not work with Sega Lindbergh or Taito Type X. Maestro3h

you could also add that the jp Vewlix L is using a GTT build Screen, while it does use a Samsung Panel , it is not a regular consumer grade Samsung Monitor like the China Units use.

there might also be a late 2012 jp Vewlix L/VS Version that uses a NEC Monitor , but i have never seen one.

you can also recognize a chinese Vewlix by its glossy screen.

Just a quick note - the coin entry on my C is chromed plastic so not chrome in the traditional chrome-plated metal sense. I expect that the F then is the same?

I note the 'hidden' height adjuster feet on the C and F, although more notable is the completely different lower support frame. Is it just bigger boxed metal, or does it use the existing lower frame with just a cowling on?

If the former, that may explain the weight difference for the lightweight L's - any other reasons for the weight difference?

There are wedges fixed to the legs on the F and C models into which the feet are screwed rather than screwing through the legs themselves:


Re the weight difference, I guess it's accumulation of additional and/or different components such as those wedges, an extra MDF shelf, heavier monitor (?), PSU etc. I'm not sure specifically though.

Interestingly my cab doesn't have a single 120mm fan and chrome grill at the bottom section of the rear, but instead has 2 smaller approx 60mm Panasonic fans at the top section where the meshed holes would usually be...

i do remember the smaler fan mounted directly to the Vewlix from my first F, don`t remember if it had the 120mm fan thou.

from what i can tell right now, there are Vewlix C with atleast 3 different Monitors.

Does anyone have an early F Manual by any Chance ? Would also love to get my hands on the Manual for the VS-Vewlix.

I have a scan of my Vewlix AMI L manual but it is too big to attach here in a pm (I am assuming it is a size problem but it has failed 3 times). I also have official (non-scan) Vewlix C and Vewlix DIA manuals from a vendor in Japan. Anyone have a way for me to get them here?

My LCD Panel is a TLK-320Y

Hoping to add a Vewlix C from Jinxz soon.
