I think this may have been done to death already, but has anyone found an adapter (or mod method) to mount LS-32's on Sega panels?
I have an NNC two player panel which has some of the baggiest Seimitsu's I've ever used so I'm desperate to get rid of them! Also I have a one player Capcom panel which has a JLF - and a different plate.
Pictures below. One of them contains a mounting plate that neo-legend advertise as for mounting LS32 in Sega panels but as you can see it's no good for mine.
Assuming the one on the right is yours, there is no adapter plate that will allow you to mount an LS-32 to that plate, the footprint of the LS-32 pivot is wider than those holes. Even if it was possible, the stick would be sitting ridiculously low.
The earlier Naomi 2L6B plates are Seimitsu compatible (NOA-2003).
It looks like you have a sanwa panel, a LS-32 will not mount to that. The new "licensed by sega" sanwa panels use a wider mount that accommodates the RE plate which allows LS-32 to mount, but as mentioned the stick will sit low and the shaft might be too short for some people. You could use a VF plate and LS-56/58 on the panel you have, but again, it will be a tad on the short side (I actually prefer it).
I think the base of the LS-32 might be too big to re-use the holes on those existing plates. I'm gonna give it a look at sometime this week.
Would be lovely if they just copied the mounting plate on the bottom of Madcatz TE's..can get every stick under the sun on those. Tho with Sanwa and Seimitsu being the manufacturers of newer panels I guess it's understandable they won't support other peoples product.
Sorry to Hijack the thread but I am having a similar issue. I have the panel in the pictures and was told the LS 32 would fit however they do not could you advise if I can get some sort of adapter to make them fit or have I been sold the wrong sticks?
If you're not using them anymore Francobabes fancy a cheeky swapsies?
Clarkey: Can you measure the distance on the single holes in the center of those brackets? It looks like those French adapter plates I was sold could fit yours, in which case I'll sort you out with them
