Recapped the audio on this MV4FT, still get exactly the same static :( Not sure what to try other than start working my way through 4 slots, which isn't going to be much fun.

Coin mech bolts are on their way from Japan :awe:

could it be that the board was modded for mono sound so that it would meet the jamma standard and could be used in just about any universal jamma cabinet? The 4slot is a stereo board, which has a slightly different pinout and your cab should be wired for stereo, too.

If that was the case I'd not be getting stereo out? Used to run it with an adaptor in other cabs

No, if they modded the board for mono sound, then they cut a trace and bridged another connection. Many arcade ops did this to 2slot boards so that they could run neo games in their cabs without messing with the jamma harness. If your neo 19 is still wired to work with the the 4slot (it does have the light thingy for the 4 mini marquees under the hood, right), then that might be the problem.

I ran into the same problem, when i tested mvs boards with my supergun.

Well my board outputs stereo and the cab plays stereo, through the edge connector :)

But it worked in the pony without an mvs to jamma adapter?

I've tried a second motherboard - an MV4F (my usual one is an FT). Same problem.

Coin mech arrived from Japan so that's now fitted correctly. Not much left to do except a ton of polishing and some new bolts. Thinking I should get some sort of buffing pads for a drill as working by hand is not happening too quickly...

Interesting: http://ikotsu.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/sn ... k-199.html"

My monitor bezel is black, not grey. It doesn't look like it's been resprayed, but I need to check closely I guess.

Thanks to Pang for confirming the logo sticker size as 230mm. Repros enquired about with Monkey Online.

Any idea where to find a replacement for the coin slot and the screen cover for this?
Cab looks awesome.

ALFARBI was going to make the screen covers a year ago, but nothing has happened since. I need a couple of these too.

The coin mech pops up on yahoo quite a bit.

I meant the the coin panel in the door, not the typical asahi coin mech. Does that also come out often in yahoo?
