Nice score man.

After building an autofire circuit for this game I found that I could 1CC it pretty much every time, Level 50 and phase 1 / 2. :(

Autofire is pretty much cheating though. :awe:

Love the soundtrack too.

Do you accept scores from a US board?

DAV - 36,034.778 - Level 40 - Slave (Ixion)

I'm still getting comfortable with a slave ship.

HOW TO GET THE SECRET FIGHTERS

To play as the secret fighters (Raiden mk-II, Judge Spear and their blue counterparts; Miclus), do the following:

* Insert coin, and then press the Start button and these buttons simultaneously: P1 Fire, P1 Bomb, P2 Fire, and P2 Bomb. This means you should press five buttons simultaneously. You should see the secret fighters on the Fighter Selection Screen.
* To play as the slaves of any of the fighters, highlight any fighter and then press P1 Fire, P1 Bomb, P2 Fire, and P2 Bomb simultaneously again. You should be able to get the Slave plane of the fighter you selected. Selecting the Miclus will allow you to play as the Fairy. Slaves inherit the speed and the bombs used by the fighters they normally accompany.

On my Raiden Fighters Jet board I hold down the Player 1 bomb on the title screen then press the Player 1 coin. You can let go of it once it asks for initials. Now select a ship normally and it should turn into a slave.

Thanks for the good words. I'm starting to become consistant on my stage progression and points. Can't wait to see more scores!

Edit:

Small update on score. Nothing technically good about it.

Thanks goatboy! I activate the medals on Simulation Level 01 and try to get a high technical bonus. Simulation Level 05 has a few areas you can chain for a large sum of points but I cannot pull this off on every run. I got very lucky on that last one but will keep trying to improve. :D

Update! 10/08/10

Nope. Haven't 1CCd it. I should go for a low rank run and try and engineer the level path to get it I guess.

Just kept max medals all the time through a run which was fairly mediocre otherwise for that.
