I was playing the PC version after getting a bit hooked on it at the arcade, and it was only then that I really clearly noticed the people in the ocean, so I think it must be quite different visually. Also don't you boost and drift differently in the console version? I find I only pull off the boost about 1 out of 5 times.Mendel wrote: ↑December 30th, 2012, 1:37 am Gave it my best shot with dreamcast version.
Using settings: arcade - play by arcade rules.
I have previously also played the game with a cabinet and as far as I can tell the only real difference is the cabinet has a very nice steering wheel and a better screen Thumbstick and pc monitor isn´t quite as nice.
Other than that it is pretty much the same code or a very accurate port as Naomi and Dreamcast are so much alike
Getting past 6000 mark required something like 20 retries.
