Re: donpachi pcb (new thread)
Thanks. It wasnt a particularly good run its about 1.5-2mil off my best. Ive not been playing it regularly recently so a lot of the stuff i had locked down is a bit hit and miss but it means im also playing a bit looser which is good as i was getting a bit bored of going over the same lines again and again.
If you change up your ship the speed of a is the big advantage it can get you in and out of stuff that for the other ships is instant death and when timed right can get some crazy chains. im not giving away my secrets just yet, but its taken me about 200hrs to understand how to set up and get through most of the chains through the first loop, but theres still a lot of refinement to get the 100+ chains in stages 4 and 5. i should have a route through the first loop if i was playing for survival and bombing.

I got this PCB working in my cab over the weekend, and the reward was finally clearing the first loop! I suck - this took about 2 years of casual credits. Anyway, that doesn't change the fact that I'm currently one stoked MF'er. I still need to practice stage 5. I had a no miss going up until that point. From there I was able to bomb my way to 2-1, where the suicide bullets quickly finished me off.
