I don't know what the differences to Zero 3 are.
I also don't know how much characters can be customized, therefore I'd say:
-As long as original arcade characters are used (no customized characters), SFZ3 Upper is allowed.

Oh, and nice score of course :D

As far as I know, zero3upper just adds the extra characters from the dreamcast version. So Balrog, Juli, Juni, Dee Jay, Fei Long, T Hawk, Guile and Evil Ryu. Bison, Balrog and Akuma also have hidden versions (final/ex/shin).

According to the web you can use customised characters from the dreamcast version if you have the hardware to attach a vmu. I have no idea what the benefits are however.

I did not find usefull information with a quick google search - so Upper is welcomed.

Does it matter which Turbo Mode is used? Does this affect the score?

Nice score moshpit. I've now got zero3 cps2 again, so will have to get a proper score up. I did get around 1.6mil on a test play the other day, I'm sure I can do much better if I actually put some time into it. Not really beasted any SF game since alpha 2 gold on the playstation

Ken is deffo the easiest to shoto it up with, forward roll and shoryureppa/shinryuken are good for spammage :awe:

Agreed. He's the easiest one. Sometimes I have the feeling the default AI is totaly random. Sometimes when I start the game I beat it straight with 1cc sometimes I can't make it past the 3rd or 4th fight  But I think it's a "OK" game. Probably to easy for a Kern :problem: :awe:

Any Idea if the Turbo 1 or 2 mode does affect the score?

Sorry, updated the board.

Very nice score moshpit.

I don't know if the score is affected if turbo is used, but I would normally have used turbo for scoring only and normal for training.
I only got the feeling that the AI is adapting to your game play with SFZ; with SFZ2 and SFZ3 I always experience a constant increase in the CPU's skill level as the game continues.

If any of you post a new score could you please send me a quick PM?
I will get an e-mail then.
It is more convenient for me atm this way as I'm very bussy.

Thanks and happy scoring!

Emulator high scores are not allowed are they? I'm using Final Burn Alpha.

Anyway, about the difficulty in this game. I'm 99% sure that the difficulty ramps up after the designated sub-boss fights based on how well you've done. Don't lose any rounds and get a few perfects in there, and the sixth opponent will destroy you. Then again I guess to get a good score you should lose a round in each match after depleting most of their lifebar?

Also, is there a way to check if a score means you beat the game or just lost?

Here are my blashphemous Final Burn Alpha high scores. I understand if they're not eligible.

The funny thing is that my third and lowest score is the only one where I have actually beaten the game. If I get a better score then I can't beat Rose, who Adon has to fight before Vega. She's such **** a pain in the ****.

Don't see why mame wouldn't rank. There must be a bigger difference between CPS2 and Naomi, and we're hardly Twin Galaxies.
