Eeek. 5.2m on Normal is a very good score. How many of the hidden knob bosses do you fight?

I still can’t clear the game using a team :(

**** sake i fought all the bosses inc the ninjas at the start of highway and kept up my medals ..sometimes i just wonder where the points come from in this game.. i deffo wasn't milking **** tho..

think the ship is a garegga ship (flying baron ) but i'll check which one it is!

I beat my 4m score last night by Level 4 second boss. I’m not posting till I get something significantly better.

Strawman A, Miyamoto B, W Snail C

Holy F*ck sticks there are a lot of bosses with that combo. The Ninja is a total b’tard though.

yep if you got a ship from each team you gotta fight a lot of them gits..you've got to time your death suicides perfectly to get them all tho which is a bit of a pain! they don't seem that hard to me tho .. even tho i've hardly played against them i still seem to be ablt to deal with attacks.. the ninjas are deffo gits tho!!

Blakcheart takes ages, but is rather easy. It's the Ninja's that I don't like. One of the attacks where the green one darts from side to side is total ****.

Also Garegga planes are pants in this game. They are far too slow.

i deliberately didn't trigger bashinet on the sky stage, but i did do gobo robo, black heart, a ninja, and another bashinet/big red thing before the proper start of stage 5. my bad :oops:

i also select the ships with a different button each (A, B, and C respectively) which triggers one of the ninjas as well

I find Bashnet fine on the Sky stage. Just stay in the middle for a quick kill. I need to stop trigering the Ninja :(

Im knocking this back to the top. I started playing it yesterday for the first time.

1 credit (3 ships) Normal 1.3million (very lame!)


But some questions....

Whats a good score to finish stage 1 at (I am normally in the 500000-600000 mark.

And how do you get the choice of the stage 2 level (skyhigh, airport etc??)

I only get about 500-600 on stage one too. You don't really start scoring until you max out your medals. That's where the stage select comes in handy. There are next to no medals on Skystage, so do it as number 2. Sewar has a lot, airport tons of medals.

I can't link, try shmups or the sheeps cave of shooting. It's a dip on the mobo that allows stage, charachter, team select. Enable them all.

Yes 1.3m is gash :awe:

oh & charlie can't access the site at present, so I'll update the hi-score thread.

I might actually play this again tonight ;)

Start out playing as Strawman only. It's easy to clear the game & no hidden bosses. Once you get better start selecting teams that enable a special boss on each level (some are total pains in the ****)

... what if I dont use stage select? how to do trigger and not trigger Skyhigh level? Is it to do with knocking all the signs down at the car dealer?

Certain member combos affect what bosses appear (= score), stage select affects how you can gather medals (= score), there's a dipswitch that turns on stage select

yeah, Batrider is pretty manic, but doesn't seem very bullet hell-y... which doesn't mean a thing

oh, and just for kicks, Icarus of shmups declares that 1,000,000+ should be achieved from stage 1, if everything is done right
