Just got this a few weeks ago. I thought I did quite well until I saw your scores. Makes mine look kinda lame lol

My best so far is 23m, but I didn't take a pic of it due to lack of 1CC frustration.

Game is coming back this week... I hope to eclipse this score by actually beating it once and for all.

Congrats, it's still a great achievement even if it's not top of the HS table :awe:

Added.

I put this in for the first time in 6 months recently (it's still in there) and on my first credit after a year of not playing or more I no-missed up to the level 4 boss. Only got about 13mill as I forgot where/how to score well but it's just such a fun game, a lot simpler than the nightmare of a second one and .. I just love it.

Small improvement. Feels like I'm doing OK on levels 1-3 but still missing out on a lot of points on the final three.

Thanks! Realized I'm not using button 4 (auto) at all. And now my brain is all programmed for the tapping and holding of the A-button :palm:

To confuse yourself further, try holding down C+D while starting a new game. :awe:

Hmmm... I think I might actually prefer that. Seems more natural to hold C with the ring finger and use my thumb for the barrier. Thanks!

I play 1 and 2 this way. It's not critical really.

I am used to playing the PS2 and 360 ports of ESPG1+2 with the following config:
1: Laser
2: Kakusei
3: Rapidfire
4: Shield-barrier

Are the PCB's 4 button default? If so, I'm guessing 2+4 would be switched because 2 usually = bomb.
