Choosing one of the options sets the game to a specifc set of settings - default lives, default bombs and One credit. Your highest score is uploaded to the Live scoreboard and there for all too see.

I can do a bit better in arcade mode, I didn't realize what this world ranking thing was.

Is it any good? It’s one of the games I’ve been meaning to pick up.

Not quite as pretty as the arcade version but a decent port nicely presented. Really good game in my opinion. If you like'd 3 you'll love it.

Bah, I can no longer boast how i'm **** at these but still highly placed I think I was 430-something last I looked. I've not managed to get to 1-3 on ranking mode yet

also doutor, i'm curious to know if you play ketsui at all ...?

the guy who is producing those shows is nakano ryuzou (spelling?). he released the recent DOJ black label dvd, and is also a shmup player himself (arcadia records for Pink Sweets and Soukyugurentai )
