Death Smiles IIX

Post by DandySephy »

Scores must have pictures etc

I'm guessing most people just play IIX mode, but if anyone want's to post scores for other modes *looks at Pang*, I'm sure we can add more tables!

Code: Select all

1- Korszca - 6,584,639,763 - Follett - ALL EX
2- TwonK - 4,657,031,515 - Follett - ALL EX
3- Dandy Sephy - 3,597,690,493 - Follett - Last Stage EX
4-
5-

3,597,690,493 with Ex Stage (why isn't this shown on the game over screen?). A 1.5b increase over my score from yesterday

I can't really figure out high scoring on this.

I assume you just fill up to 1000 and 10,000

Then just unleash, rinse, repeat?

How does the lock shot come into play?

Essentially yes, although you don't necessarily need 10,000 you can get close and then get the rest of the way after trigger power up. Theres a decent guide on cave stg, and it's also on shmups iirc

What's your route?

I'll get on this tonight.

Best I've done is a billion.

But we'll see where I end up later.

Thanks!

It took me a while to get the hang of it, I would panic and power up far too early. Since getting the all clear I've been concentrating on scoring and being less cautious. It means I can't get as far as before but my scores has improved considerably. ATM I'm mainly doing A,B,E,D,C and now EX, Final, but it can change depending on performance

Field C is probably the best regular stage for scoring but it can be a **** as one mistake can cost you 300m easily. I started off rank 2 with that until I got better, now I play all on rank 3

I quit being so damn cautious.

Let loose, and took your route.

I thought I was gonna have you on my second run, but ended up 500m less.

How do you milk the bosses?

I use the lock shot to spawn suicide bullets, then collect the red rings.

Not really doing all too good there.

Been playing this quite a bit. Not broken 2billion yet but loving it so far :)

(IIX mode is far more fun than arcade, also)

Is there a large clear bonus?

There is no clear bonus.

You'll get the hang of it.

Takes some time to get used to it.

I agree X mode is way more fun than arcade (Looks way better too)
