Just got this up and running and I **** love it
We fell in love with it at r3play and I picked up a board before xmas as a gift for the Mrs
We played it on a cocktail with really **** vertically mounted joysticks, is so much better playing it on a proper panel.
Had a couple of credits tonight and thought I would bang a score up to get the ball rolling.
Code: Select all
1. DAV - 502,320 - Round 12
2. FRN - 442,090 - Round 11
4. JAM - 303,550 - Round 4
3. ZIM - 165,070 - Round 7
5. NPS - 41,750 - Round 2

Nice one buddy! Shame about your board, really hope you get it working soon. I wish I could be of some assistance.
I've added you to the scoreboard anyway as its looking a bit bare
Once you get it running again just aim to get the bombs in order (with the fuses lit). The more you get in order the higher your end of round bonus will be and that's where you get most of your points from. Try and collect/defuse the bombs as quickly as possible too to keep your multiplier up.

Is playing this on a 60-1 board ok for the high score table?

Sure, no problem.
The sound on the 60-1 is awful though, I know as I have it.

Does it sound abit flakey and rough? Seems to be common on these kind of boards, actually I have the PCB, bombjack here I come.

Yeah I think BJ has the worst sound pretty much of any of them on the 60 in 1 which made it unplayable for me.
If you have the real PCB then I would definitely use that. Good luck, lets see some scores!

Second place, one more place to go
Is there an attract sequence hack so it doesn't sit on the title screen when it's credited? Annoying when i've overcredited and want to see the high score screen.

Nice one D. Same round but a much higher score, I presume you are getting more bombs in order?
I only put one credit in at a time so I've never had a problem with over crediting.
