Always loved this game. It's a lot more fun than the other older classics IMO.

I started on this again about a year ago and finally broke the 300,000 mark last night.

I was shaking and messed up on the last round. It's quite an accomplishment for me.

Its the DS version, which is 100% identical to the arcade version.

I'm not as good with the joysticks as I am with the DS pad.

I need a good joystick for my multi board.

I'm missing jumps in the later levels.

And sometimes the necessary back and forth with meowki's ends in a broken trampoline - like the stick registers too quick or something.

It's the NAMCO museum collection.

You should try it.

It's a lot easier to play.

EDIT: the PCB or MAME scores are actually higher because the only difference is that the DS version scores some items lower.

The highest item multiplier you can get is 500x4 no x6 on anything.

Goro is 200x2 + a meowki = 400x2 each meowki is an additional 200x2.

Thanks!

Ive been playing this game daily for the past 2 years.

I can no miss the entire first loop, every bonus stage, and the first set after the first loop.

To be honest, the second set after the first loop still trick me up.

And I'm stil learning patterns.

But by stage 5 I usually have 60,000+

22,000 stage 1

35 - 40 stage 2

50k stage 4

.......................

If you need any pointers let me know.
