PCB problems and fixes

I got a Mushihimesama board today,
but when i powerup the pcb, a led on the pcb (D6) flickers and i get a black screen with only 1 or 2 random moving lines on screen
Any idea? Could it be that i have to adjust my +5v setting on the power supply? or am i missing something?
My other Cave pcb's (Espgaluda en Esprade) work perfectly on this Sega Astro City cabinet.
I do have the original small psu in the cab by the way.

At least now i know the board board isn't broke.
Have to find me a stronger psu then.

It's not sure that you HAVE to change your PSU , but it may be a lead

Hi,
I recently had the same problem with a 7AN max Sega PSU (NAC).
Do no hesitate to test your PCB with ATX PSU !

Great Setsuan!
So i can hook up a normal computer ATX power supply to power up the pcb?
Any schematics for that sowewhere? Altough you picture is very clear.
Don't want to ruin my new Muchihimesama pcb

Hi Setsuan, it works!
Thanks again for making this guide. I just tested my new Mushihimesama pcb and it works like a charm
Only no sound at the moment because the ATX-hack only used the +5V, +12V and GND for now. But that's no big deal, at least i could test my new pcb.

You can have sound with this hack. You just have to plug it directly to your amp (from the jamma). I had the same problem before and it woks now ^^

I have the two sound wire from my jamma to my Sega AMP.
If you don not have Sega Amp, this is gonna be difficult. I can make a picture tomorrow if you need.

I have a original Astro City psu, but not with audio in/out. So i guess i have to connect two wires (Sound L and R) straight from the jamma connector to the same Sega AMP plug we used for connecting the ATX psu to.

Hi Setsuan, I have an old pic here where you can see the psu. Not very clear though.

There is no big sound amp underneath it.
PS. Ignore the white square drawn on the pic. That's just the jamma-loom's kickharness.
