Pretty much everything (as little as it is) I own does.

MVS
Kaneko Super Nova
Jaleco Megasystem 32

Dollars to donuts say, anytime you see a picture of a board and it has a battery on it, it's probably saving scores.

Naomi- No score save. If you're running the GDRom, there is a battery for backing up game data (not score data).

Atomiswave- No.

Type X- Dunno

The GNet saves the scores within the GCard too which is very nice. Since its on the actual card, the save data remains even when you switch software.

My shikigami came with world-class high scores saved in it from whatever arcade it came out of. Never even came close to seeing the score board :?

Some Naomi carts do save scores. Slashout, Zombie Revenge, and Guilty Gear X do. They are erased as soon as you change carts though.

Most of the Atari and Williams dedicated US cabs save high scores from as far back as 1980. Not sure what took the Japanese so long to catch on.
