Naomi Sends No Audio/Video, But Fans Power On

Post by jimmytakacs »

Hey all! I'm a super newb. Please be gentle. I got all my CP wiring set up and while waiting for my net dimm to arrive from Italy, I thought I'd attempt to boot the Naomi, just to make sure everything was ready to go and that I could at least see an error message on screen and hear some sort of audio. Dips are set to Up Down Down Down, and when the cab powers on (Net City btw), the Naomi fans kick on, the monitor gets power, marquee light comes on, but nothing happens on the display. I know the monitor works because I plugged my Dreamcast directly into the Dsub and sent the audio to the audio board and it worked perfectly. Any thoughts? Any pictures I could provide? I've read this could possibly be a power issue, but the PSU inside looks to be the right one. I'll check back here tomorrow afternoon on lunch break.

Get a multimeter and measure your voltages. There's three voltages going in, 3.3V, 5V and 12V.
