Naomi hardware in Astro City

Post by DaveyD »

Has anyone come up with a nice elegant solution to fitting all the required parts to play Naomi games into an Astro City i.e Naomi motherboard, Sun PSU, and Capcom IO. without just piling it all on top of each other and wedging the door shut :shifty:

Yes. NVS-4000 for power and sound, wire up a Sega JVS IO and mount it to the side of the cab for controls and VGA via a small converter or hook up a 31khz chassis :)
With that setup you don't need the SUN PSU and the big Capcom converter.
You just have the Naomi on a wooden board et voila

All the components are usually mounted onto a piece of MDF that can slide in and out of the astro city.
