Re: Type x2
Then you probably have a game that doesn't support HD resolutions. Mine is like that as well, the game is only 480p (31KHz) or 480i (15KHz).
Re: Type x2
It was just a piece of black tape over the dipswitches. According to arcadeshock the game (KOFMIRA) is capable of high resolution. I just dont know what the dipswich settings are, there are 5 dipswiches if 2 should be on for 720p what about the others

Re: Type x2
try dips 1 and 2 on
3 and 4 off
5 on
3 and 4 off
5 on
Re: Type x2
Tried it and still no joy. It might be that the graphics are just crap, but they look squahed and stretched wide. Also the text doesnt look that clear compared with t5dr on the ps3.Mr-Megalo wrote:try dips 1 and 2 on

Re: Type x2
I think they probably are in 720p now although it is difficult to tell as the characters and backgrounds etc are pretty badly drawn

Just got my X2 board today and same piece of black plastic over the dip switch area. Does it just come off?
Also do you guys know if the power supply is autoswitching? Don't want to plug it inot the UK mains and have it blow on me.

Re: Type x2
Doesn't most ATX power supplies have a manual switch for voltage setting on the back? It's just another PC...Ringtail wrote:Also do you guys know if the power supply is autoswitching? Don't want to plug it inot the UK mains and have it blow on me.

Re: Type x2
dont know about the power but regarding the black plastic just slip a knife down the edge and it peels off it is only a thin piece of plastic.

Re: Type x2
Thanks PP
Well plugged it in and it's a switching Power supply so thats good. Just popped it straight into a Naomi UNI and other than the sound it works without issue. Anyone got any clue what I need to do to get it hooked up to the speakers? Popping the Uni audio cables in just greets me with a loud buzz.

Re: Type x2
You will need a phono to 3.5mm jack adapter like this:

Or a phono to 3.5mm jack lead like this:

I don´t know how a Naomi Uni is wired (I guess two RCA jacks?!), but make sure you use the green socket on the Type X2 with a small headphone plug.
