Chihiro questions

Ok I bought one untested, a bit of a gamble, it came and so I booted it up, got nothing till I attached the right cables .
Then I got a green tinged screen, I copied the dipswitches of my other one( a JPN one) and that sorted the green screen, I am still left with this however:

that looks the same as running a 15khz game through a naomi screen.
Does the chihiro have a dip for doing that like the naomi mobo does?

Good question, I set the dips exactly the same as my other chihiro mobo( I think) which appears to work ok.

Hmm, worth a bash I guess, but when I swap in my Japanese chihiro the picture is fine?

Have you tried swapping the filter board with the working Japanese one? Might be a bad VGA connector..

Not had this problem, but have had faulty VGA connectors on Naomi boards.

No but I was thinking it looked resolution based, I just figured that changing the Dips might put it back to crt type thingymajigger.
Trying to use the option screens is tough

Do you bought this Chihiro on EBay to one Spanish guy? Because one guy was trying to repair some Chihiro on spanish fórums but no body helps to him and i think maybe this is, because firstly he put on that fórum selling like untested :S

That's pretty crappy. Wonder if you could get the forum link of him asking about it and use it to make a PayPal claim.

Doesnt the chihiro have a few cap issues? Have you checked than non are burst or leaking?
