There isn't one, you will need to make it yourself.

Re: Full list of JAMMA games?
In that case, lemme change the question: is there a full list of all arcade system boards that are JAMMA? I mean things like CPS2, MVS, etc. That would already be enough.

Yeah, that's like 50 games, right?trev1976 wrote:Going for the full set ?
@Myst7: Keep in mind that System16 hasn't been updated in a few years so you won't have the latest hardware and games on there. Heck, there are boards that get discovered every year that no one knew existed.

Re: Full list of JAMMA games?
Well, my idea was to have something like a JAMMASD to load all games from a flashcart, using real hardware. But disregard that, I read on another forum that it doesn't seem to be possible. That's because many games are made for a specific hardware, even if they are JAMMA. So much for that, then...trev1976 wrote:Going for the full set ?
Now that this was put behind, can you guys name some boards with detachable software carts? That's the closest we have to consoles, I guess. I can list a few that I do know (please, correct me if I'm wrong on some of them):
-CPS1
-CPS2
-NG MVS
-Taito F3
-Sega NAOMI
-PGM
-CAVE 68000
-CAVE 1000B
Anything else?

99% of arcade stuff is not on swappable carts.

Re: Full list of JAMMA games?
JAMMA isn't an arcade system, it's a wiring standard.
Also CPS1 isn't really "swappable carts," more like a modular boardset, kinda like the Konami GX system or something similar.
What's your end game here? Are you looking for a multi-game solution that isn't MAME or something? There isn't a good all-in-one arcade solution that's not emulation based, and even that has limitations.

Yes, exactly. But since that won't be happening, I guess I will just give up.aaronjmill wrote: Are you looking for a multi-game solution that isn't MAME or something?
There seems to be a solution for Neo Geo at least, though:

You could spend thousands on flashcart type products and all that guff to play one or two games per system, or you could buy the originals, or spend a few hundred on a kick **** GroovyMAME setup that will do all the JAMMA stuff as well as these...

Re: Full list of JAMMA games?
Many games have graphic or audio bugs that doesn't exist in real hardware (Mystic Warriors, Burning Force, Denjin Makai II, etc). Pretty minor stuff, but whatever.spmbx wrote:So what are according to you the limitations on the current emulation that you personally find problematic?
Yeah, got it. Will do that.cools wrote:You could spend thousands on flashcart type products and all that guff to play one or two games per system, or you could buy the originals, or spend a few hundred on a kick **** GroovyMAME setup that will do all the JAMMA stuff as well as these...
