Taito F3 multiboard

Post by pulstar »

Pre-orders are up for Darksoft's Taito F3 multi here - http://ksiegarniafont.co.uk/en/darksoft ... ridge.html.

I like the F3 library but I'm only really looking for one game at the moment so I won't be getting one. Pretty cool that it's come (almost) out of the blue.

Yes, there is. Many of Cave's older games run on PGM hardware:

As for Cave's newer stuff, I wouldn't be surprised by a CV1000 multiboard either.

Re CV1000, don't get your hopes up. Complex stuff. Perhaps in distant future with some FPGA trickery.

A PGM multi cart I can see happening at some point, although seeing as there isn't one at this point does suggest that either it's technically a lot more difficult, at least, than a Neo Geo multi or that the demand isn't there for the amount of effort/money it would take.

A CV1000, I don't see. Not in the near future at least, but I'd love to be proved wrong :)

It's already out? I was going to get one but not at that price, $400+ USD seems a bit too much for something that I will use only to play Akkanvader and Elevator Action.

Well, not shipping until July. No love for Darius Gaiden? Probably my favourite Darius game and one of my favourite shmups.

I am anxiously waiting reviews. Just starting to get back to playing with the toys and the DS kits for CPS2 turned out really well I thought
