I am getting a Vewlix AMI cabinet without an game system inside. I was considering getting a TaitoX2 but considering the price, and it is just a PC anyway, it may make more sense to just put a PC inside and buy the games from Steam (or go the TaitoX2 hacked games route, which seems to be another headache). Anyway, few questons:
1. As the cabinet will come wired for JVS will I need special adapters to connect a PC?
2. How will I connect audio? Do I need an amp?
3. I can create my own menu to select a game once the PC has booted, but how can I exit games to go back to this menu? Do I have to install extra buttons for this?
Thanks

2. Sound output of your PC to the 2 chinch In of the Sound AMP in your cab (should be there).
3. Yes you can, there are a few options like Hyperspin and XBMC, but I'm no expert with this right now.

Thanks a lot for your answer
Regarding 3, my issue is not the software itself, but if I need extra buttons to "exit" games.

You can use the built in shortcut button presses on the JVS-Pac which work with a standard CP or use something like a small handheld bluetooth keyboard.

I use one of these
