that'd be good news for SF4 fans, as Rev A would be cheap as chips.

Pretty sure Rev B will be a Disc upgrade, you will still need the Rev A dongle to play. :P

that is likley the worst thing that could happen. I would imagine the revision will be along pretty quickly.

I know X2 is a pc with HDD, so I’d guess that the upgrade would probably be flash / USB rather than disc based.

There is no way that they will just release a new version B & not let you upgrade.

Nothing like play testing a game before release, guess Capcom couldn't afford Meg as a play tester..

I doubt they'll charge anything, Same as Namco with Tekken 5.1 as long as you bought from an official distributor all you have to do is ask for the upgrade. If it were anything but bug fixes you would be paying through the nose for it.

Bugfixes should always be free, further updates can cost a fortune though. The AH Full ROM was 70,000 originally for example

I am trying to get a confirm / pic of it, but the Japanese machines started receiving updates from the Nesys network apparently...
Even on the overseas models you can still get network updates (Just no Nesys network play), so there will be no Rev A. hard drives floating around... :p

So I still don't know what the NESYS update to the Japanese cabinets was. The ones that received the update still have the same problem. *Although players say its harder* (I think they just haven't practiced) :P

No comment from Capcom on the updates yet. A bunch of people who would know what is going on were in Vegas this past week instead of answering my emails.
No appreciation for the some of us had to work instead of going and buying new games in bulk :)

So the official word is that no one is complaining and they "The distributor / Capcom" don't know what all the fuss is about.
