naomi new net city marquees

Hi guys,

I bought multiple Naomi 1 carts that have marquees and instructions for Naomi, Net City, New Net City cabinets. They come from multiple sellers and they all state that the marquees are original. However, they are rectangular in shape. They do not have that peculiar trapezoid shape of the marquee holder. Were these supposed to be cut by the arcade owners to fit?

It's mostly Sega's own (dedicated) games that have the trapezoid marquees.

They are Sega's games. Two of them are Virtua Tennis and Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution.

I'm sure both of those have the trapezoid marquees. However, that's not to say the ones you're receiving are not original. You have to remember that, for instance, the US never got the Naomi universal cabinet. That's why all the Naomi art from there will be rectangular.

Aaah...ok...I didn't knew that US had no official release of the Naomi Universal cabinet. That explains all.
