MVS & AES Multi card

Post by OlDirty »

Hi all

Couldn't find a thread about the Multicard darksoft is developing. A Mutlicard for the MVS and also AES Neo Geo system. Prototype version should come out in the next days.

http://www.arcade-projects.com/forums/i ... /&pageNo=5

What i didn't know is that another guys is also developing something :wtf: Does somebody know about that?

i think darksoft may be working his way around all the cart based systems dependant on demand, as he put up a vote thing for the next one after he did the cps2, pgm would be good but id rather have a taito f3 one for variety of games or an irem m92 multi that would be amazing.

Indeed it would. But unfortunatelly Irem boards are really disastrous in terms of reliability :(

Things might have changed as it was a while ago when I read it but IIRC they were both aiming for around the $400 price point, so given current exchange rates a smidge over £300.

This should be the menu of the upcoming Multi MVS game from Darksoft.

That looks good so far.
The black description field needs to get a little wider, so that on can read the whole game Titel.
Especially with the KoF games on can only read "The King of Fighters >(...)"

It's not the final menu structure and it should be customizable for everybodys taste.

This. The fanboys of both camps are mad annoying. Looking forward to having a few good multi cart options on the Neo front tho.

Looking quite good - fixing the bootscreen part is a great idea too, takes way to long.
Otherwise, super excited :awe:

Lots of fanboys on both sides but still good with a little competition.
Menu looks cool.

On the SD I liked the idea about being able to buy NGdevs games on roms locked to your Multi, though that will never happen i guess.

Yeah, that's not going to happen.

The only thing NeoSD has going for it is that it can function exactly like a genuine cart, even in a multislot.

If the NeoSD guys are smart they will drop the price of their cart when the DSNeo launches, because for features, the DSNeo has it beat 10-0.

This was the thing I was looking for in a Neo Multi.
