I've been developing a freeware multigame to replace the crappy one people have been selling online for years.
Today I released the RC1 and would love to have as many people test it out and give me feedback as possible.
The problems my multigame will address:
1.) Each game will have its own folder for a "D:" drive. ( No more issues switching between BlazBlue versions, and no more cluttered "D:" drive. Infact the multigame will only have 1 partition. )
2.) After you adjust the settings for a game and exit the test menu, the game will start back up automatically ( unless you want to go back to the menu ).
3.) The drive can be cloned, copied, distributed as much as you like. No more worrying if your multigame drive fails.
4.) No more laggy game select screen, or **** PC games.
Where can you find games:
Google is your friend, but I'm sure once I release it someone will make a "complete" multi including the games and put the image up for download somewhere.
FAQ:
How do I use it? (Update method):
1.) Download the release update below.
2.) Delete the "TypeXmulti" folder from the first partition on the multi drive.
3.) Extract the "TypeXmulti" folder and all of its contents onto the first partition of the multi drive. ( You're essentially replacing the "TypeXmulti" folder on the drive with the one in the update package. )
4.) Unmount the drive, boot it up, and enjoy!
How do I use it? (Image method):
0.) If your coming from RC1, you will need to reimage the drive. Update packages wont be available until the first official release.
1.) Download the release image below.
2.) Unrar the disk image and write it to your HDD/SDD using something capable of handeling raw disk images. Such as "dd" that you find in Linux.
3.) Place all your games into seperate folders on third partition ( labeled "TTXMulti[Games]" ). For example lets say you wanted to put King of Fighters XIII on the multi. You would create a folder named "King of Fighters XIII" on the third partition ( labeled "TTXMulti[Games]" ) then place all the game files into your newly created "King of Fighters XIII" folder.
5.) Once you have your games added to the multi, unmount the drive, connect it to your TypeX2 and enjoy .
How do I use it? (RC1 ONLY):
1.) Download the appropriate release image below. You want to go with a size thats no larger then the hdd/sdd you will be using.
2.) Download WinHex: Here
3.) Use WinHex to write the release image to your hdd/sdd
4.) On the first partition of the hdd/sdd ( Where you will find Windows,Program FIles, etc. ) you will find a folder labeled "Games". Put all your games in separate folders in there. For example lets say you wanted to put King of Fighters XIII on the multi. You would create a folder named "King of Fighters XIII" under the "Games" folder then place all the game files into your newly created "King of Fighters XIII" folder.
5.) Once you have your games added to the multi, unmount the drive, connect it to your TypeX2 and enjoy .
How do I add game images to the menu?:
1.) Find or create a PNG image you want displayed in the picture box for a specific game on the multi.
2.) Make sure the image is 320x240, scale it if needed.
3.) Save the image as "gameimg.png" in the respective game folder under "Games".

Changelog:
V1.0
Fixed non working JVS controls when using slower non SDD drives.
Fixed I/O Error(s) when starting games
Fixed non working JVS controls after returning to menu from some games.
Rewrote the entire JVS "driver". Its seriously like 10x faster.
Multi starts up in 1/3rd of the time. ( From the time windows starts, not from power on. Approx 2.25 seconds faster )
Autoboot Feature: Allows you to set a game for "autoboot" and after a specified period of inactivity the selected autoboot game will boot up. This is useful for users of CRT monitors to prevent burn in.
Autoboot timer interval can be choosen from a "new" settings menu. Intervals are 1,3, or 5 minutes. Chosen autoboot game and timer interval are saved even after reboots. So set it once and forget it.
Monitor layout can be chosen from the new settings menu. Currently only two monitor layout options are available "LCD" or "CRT". LCD is the normal layout for LCD monitors. "CRT" is a slightly smaller layout to account for overscan.
RC2:
New GUI changes/improvements
