Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
Hello Niko
Got your software running perfectly now with my Blast City and Capcom converter.
All games are perfect but Crimzon Clover doesn't pass the " press start " screen.
But the most curious thing is that the first day I played your software, Crimzon was working perfectly! and the second day won't to pass the press start....
Do you know what could be bad ?
Is there also any option in the test menu to play vertical games in smaller size with the monitor in horizontal position?
Thanks !

Have you tried a keyboard to set the buttons up? I believe that's what I did to get it working.

Did you have the same problem with Crimzon Clover too?
I have no idea about how to connect it to a keyboard... I only connected it to the cabinets lol

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
I'm not sure if you're joking. You can plug a keyboard into the TypeX2. The boot the Multi. Then in Crimson Clover you can acces the menu and attempt to setup buttons, allowing you to get past the start screen.

I'm new with type X2... I bought it already done ..
But I just followed your advise , plugged a USB keyboard in various USB ports and type X2 doesn't recognize it...

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
You have to use a PS2 port keyboard. Non USB.

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
Not a PlayStation 2. Again I can't tell if you're joking. You've never used a non USB keyboard or mouse?
Ps2 is the plug type:

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
Downloading this right now, looks great
Two quick questions:
1. Does this support Nesica x Live games as well?
2. Is there a way to quit a game back to menu without switching off the Vewlix?
Thanks!

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
Thanks for the great software Niko!
I've recently installed it and it works great!! There are some games, though, that won't run off of it, and I was hoping someone could offer some insight.
I'm running V1.0 on an 80 GB Seagate HDD.
Here is the list of games I have on the HDD and whether or not they will load.
Battle Fantasia No
BlazBlue Continuum Shift Yes
Chaos Breaker Yes
Giga Wing Yes
Homura Yes
Hyper Street Fighter 2 No
Ikaruga Yes but gives I/O Error
KoF 98 UM Yes
KoF Maximum Impact Regulation A Yes
KoF Sky Stage Yes
KoF XIII Yes
Matrimelee Yes
Persona 4 Ultimax No
Raiden 3 Yes
Raiden 4 Yes
Rumble Fish 2 No
Senko no Ronde Duo Yes
Shikigami 3 Yes
Spica Adventure Yes
Street Fighter 3 Third Strike No
Street Fighter Zero 3 No
Tetris Grand Master 3 No
Trouble Witches Yes
Ultra Street Fighter 4 No
Thing is, a lot of these games worked before the multigame. For example, USF4 was running fine before the multigame was installed, but now it barely even tries to load when selected.

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
It's roughly the same as installing on a regular PC but use a version with direct input enabled. You also need the JVStool to translate the inputs from the JVS card.arcadeaddict wrote:Is there some instructions on how to get mame running on the multi hdd.

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
Tetris: Grand Master 3 is a hacked work-around requiring different video drivers. You actually need a secondary drive in order to run this one. see here:egoraptor wrote:Thanks for the great software Niko!

Most of your other no's are Nesica titles, Nesica isn't supported at present.
Battle Fantasia and USF4 should be working though. Try updating to the current 1.3 build, maybe?

USF4 really? That's supposed to be on Nesica as well (standalone is X3).AteThePrincess wrote:Battle Fantasia and USF4 should be working though. Try updating to the current 1.3 build, maybe?

Re: Freeware Taito TypeX2 Multigame
USF4 runs fine on X2, but some modifications are required for that to work. I believe Niko and his crew already have it working in unreleased builds of their loader.
