Arcade locations

Post by Sphere »

Hey Guys,

Since awhile I am mapping all the arcades that I can find and in the meantime I have found quite a lot of locations. Right now I have 116 added to my map at http://www.arcadeuniverse.net/arcade-map/ . Do you guys have some tips for arcades that I am still missing?

Regards,

Pieter

I have a handful outside of Tokyo I can add.. What do you need? Addresses? GPS?

Some Corrections:

On the map, Taito Station Shibuya is labeled as being in a rice field in Chiba..
Shibuya kaikan is now closed.

Hey Rancor, rice field? I will look into that. The japanese arcades were mentioned by GPS coordinates so I might have made a typo or something. Thanks for the heads up on that. Kaikan I will mark as closed. If you have more to add feel free to drop me either address, GPS or arcade URL. I will figure it out one way or another as I want to add sites to the map location as well. But great additions so far, thank you for that!

Hi Hanyou, I particularly add only what I love which is traditional arcades. A couple of pinball machine are great though but not solely pinball machines. But thanks for yout suggestion, I will check it out nevertheless.

Pieter

Guys, together with your suggestions I managed to now get a total of 138 arcades on the map. So thank you for that and keep those suggestions coming! :awe:

My goal is to have 500 locations on the map before the 1st of July. It will be tricky but I am confident that is realistic. I am excited getting it done! 8-)

In the meantime I have 165 arcade locations on the map. If you have any more location feel free to share them here so I can add them to the map as well.

I believe there are still a lot of arcades in Europe which I do not have yet. Particularly in Germany, Ireland, Eastern Europe I feel there must be much more. If you have any tips on that please let me know.

The only location that I could find in Switzerland is FunPlanet in Villeneuve. They have much more locations through Switzerland but I am not aware of more than 10 machines on the other locations. You can check more arcades here: http://www.arcadeuniverse.net/arcade-map/

If Zurich might be reachable for you, you could go to Outlane. Or Milan which they have 2 Playcity's.

Hope this helps?
