Re: Best Fighters ever made
The best Fighters for me:
Samurai Shodown 2 and 4
Art Of Fighting 1 and 2
All Street fighters II and Street Fighter III 3rd Strike.
The last Blade 1 and 2
And some KOF. 94, 96 and 98
There are many other sagas and games...but i love my list.
A lot of hours with this games....

You could get pretty good at it with a little practice. I can't think of another 1v1 fighter before SF2 that didn't feel like a chore.

Re: Best Fighters ever made
surely this thread should simply be called "Best Street Fighter Game" as we all know if it ain't Street Fighter, it ain't worth playing . (I'm joking, please don't bother responding... ).
Super Street Fighter X: Grand Master's Challenge
Street Fighter Alpha 2 or 3 - I can never decide which I prefer
Street Fighter III 3rd Strike
Ultra Street Fighter IV
Honestly, I've given many fighters many hours, but I simply don't enjoy them or get into the dynamic of them in the same way I do Street Fighter. I played a lot of Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct back in the day. But when I play them now, I think they're pretty crap. Never could get into the more 3D fighters like Tekken and Virtua Fighter, although I appreciate why they're highly regarded, they broke a mould and took the genre in an interesting new way.

Re: Best Fighters ever made
KOF2K2 is the best imo. Amazing roster. Perfect system.
Still immensely competitive to this day and new **** is being found out all the time. Every single character is absolutely viable. I can't think of another fighting game about which that can be said to the same extent.

Not enough Vampire/Darkstalkers appreciation
i’m also surprised MvC2 isn’t on most of the lists (even though I think I only popped in my DC disk 3 or 4 times)

As for Marvel vs Capcom 2 I don't like mixed fighters. There is the original series of Marvel comix. Xmen Children of the atom with best backgrounds ever made on an old fighter and Marvel Super Heroes with worst backgrounds than the first but all megabits are spent on animation.

*googling*
Rise of the Robots was released in May 1995 in the UK.
Rise of the Robots is the main attempt by UK slot machine manufacturer Bell-Fruit to create an arcade machine using a PC architecture.
The game sealed the systems fate

Vampire Savior is one of my top, along with the slightly more traditional Vampire Hunter (featuring Aulbath and Sasquach backgrounds).Chempop wrote:Not enough Vampire/Darkstalkers appreciation
I also like the orignal Marvel Super Heroes game (more than the sequels).
Street Fighter Zero 2 and The Last Blade are a couple others I like.
