Capcom have certainly had some failed experiments with Streetfighter controls. First pressure sensitive pads, then sausages.

Sorry to revive an old thread but does anyone know where or who may have one of those original seimitsu pabels (super street fighter 2 version)?

Hi everyone!
I bring this thread back to life so I can share with you something I find intriguing.
I have recently received a couple of control panels which I intend to use in my Aero City cabs, one is from Street fighter II The World Warrior and the other is from Super Street Fighter II. So far so good, but what I find interesting is the panel for SFII WW. I had another one before which was really worn out and ended up giving to a friend as a gift, but this new one which is in much better conditions has mistakes or differences ... Is that possible?

Let me show you some pics to explain.

This is the first I had, the worn out one.

This is my new one.

First, both of them say "World Warrier" ok, I'm not an native english speaker so that could be ok, just a typing mistake which is funny. But then I notice another difference between them. The instructions for Forward and Back/Defense points to the same side in the new panel which is a mistake but they are ok in the older one. WTF?
Location of capcom logo is also different in both panels and one last thing I notice is that the new one is slightly curved in the lower end while the older is straight.
Both appears tp fit fine in the aero city, however I didn't try them already.

What do you think people?
The new one is a copy? Not an original?
Are they genuine but intended for different cabs?
World warrier ?

Sorry for any mistake, my english needs a little more practice.

Then, just three days before the deadline, I discovered something horrible. I had made a mistake with the subtitle “World Warrior”, mis-spelling it “World Warrier.” Now I can safely tell this story too, but we actually didn’t discover it until several months after all the sprite work had been done. Since the logo had already been created, I couldn’t just go in and change the letter at this point. “Maybe I can just force it to look like an ‘o’,” I thought. I tried layering various other sprites over it until finally it looked like an ‘o’. Phew.
