Vega 9000DX
I've just aquired a Vega 9000DX - my god its huge and heavy - unfortunately no leads or manuals so I've not been able to test it yet (although Its already been 240V converted).
Oh my GOD its a monster!
540mm Wide * 270mm deep * 110 Tall
Rear View - connectors from left-right.
+5V Adj
Edge connector
RGB out
Mono Stereo switch
+5V & +12V indicator LED's
Headphones
S-BR & CBC adjustment
S-video out
P1 coin button
Individual autofire enable switches (one per fire button)
Autofire speed adjust per player
Not much inside is there..
Same type of PSU as the PANA - easily converted to 240V by sliding the switch from 110 to 220.
PCB converts the mini fingerboard (same as the FIC SG) to the 56-pin edge connector in the 9000DX and splits out the video signal to the RGB plug and video encoder.
Crap quality video-encoder PCB no-where close to the output quality on the PANA.
Nothing unusual here - PCB is the back of the autofire switches so its going to be a pain if you have to replace any - connects with a PC style idc & ribbon cable.
Standard Aero sized CP held inplace with 6 bolts
Edge connector pinouts....

I prefer the look of the Sigma Raijin, but this is a close second

Re: Vega 9000DX
No worries Ralph, she's a beast for sure, and I love her
I really like the look of the Rajin too, TBH it was just a case of which model/brand I found for sale first, be it be it a Sigma, Pana, Vega or Sega as I'm sure I would have been more than happy if I had bagged any model from those companies.

Nice to finally see an inside shot of the vega9000. At least I haven't found any other pictures of the insides.
