Boardmaster manual.
Hell-o,
I need your help!
First, I just made a translation of the Boardmaster manual, thank to a fellow member, scopEDog, who kindly took picture of his original one.
You can find the 0.9 version (actually, the first version I made, but it's almost final, so...) here.
My request is that, since English is not my native tongue, I would be grateful if one or some UK native English speakers could proofread it and point any language inconstancy my limited English could have produced. After some proofreading, I would then produce the 1.0 version that would happily take home in the Wiki.
Second, since the previous owner of my Boardmaster changed all screws , I would also be quite grateful if someone can confirm me the model of the original screws, so that I can order some and fix that.
Third, not really asking for help on this one, but I will also release a French translation of the manual. If someone wants to translate it into another language, I will then happily integrate it into my master file and release it on the wiki. It is layered (one common layer and one layer per language added; I could even do a Japanese version ), so adding translation is easy for me.
Finally, sorry to all those who thought it is an official Sega product, since it isn't at all. They bought panels from Sega and mostly took standard parts, but they weren't affiliated at all with Sega.
Still, I love mine.
P.S. Why can't I connect to the wiki?

Re: Boardmaster manual.
This translation is very good considering English is not your first language. The below are the things I would "fix" but there is nothing that doesn't make sense. Overall, very good job man!
Every page: I would remove the tab at the start of paragraphs. That is very old fashioned.
Page 1 - Volume adjustement - this should be "adjustment"
Page 2 - excepted old games - this should be "except"
Page 2 - desactivate - this should be "deactivate"
Page 5 - careful to not wrongly connect them - this would read better as "careful not to connect them incorrectly"
Page 5 - please refrain to touch it - this would read better as "please refrain from touching it"

Re: Boardmaster manual.
Thank you very much for your input.
You help both me and the manual to be more English efficient.

Re: Boardmaster manual.
Manual have been slighty updated.
If I get no more input today, I will make it 1.0 and send it to the wiki.

Re: Boardmaster manual.
Just read through it and I must say excellent work
I'm sure it will be incredibly useful to Boardmaster owners

Re: Boardmaster manual.
I updated the document, adding two lines that I previously forgot.
You can know find it's three editions here:
- Revolutionary Edition
- Royalist Edition
- More royalist than the Queen Edition
Document is now 1.0 although I would expect a 1.1 and a 1.2 version after some more proof reading.
Also : why can't I access the wiki? I feel like a STV person...

Re: Boardmaster manual.
1.2 posted.
This should be final revision, unless someone send me an additional translation.
