Hey guys,
as my chinese arcade psu just "fell apart", I'm wondering if you could recommend a good quality replacement?
Posting here because I'm using it with a supergun
Cheers!

Re: Good Arcade PSU
Honestly, I use a Wei-Ya PSU for my test bench that I got off of jammaboards.com and once you put some fuses on +5v and +12v (which you should do anyway no matter what PSU you purchase), there's really nothing wrong with them.
If you wanna go the expensive route, akishop sells Sanwa PSUs, which may or may not need a stepdown if you live in 220v territory (I really don't know).

Re: Good Arcade PSU
That's the brand I have, but the knob is so flimsy that it broke, and many of my older boots require more v than it can even provide, so I would prefer not to get another one. I have a 3 board r-type boot that it can't run properly.Korszca wrote:Honestly, I use a Wei-Ya PSU for my test bench that I got off of jammaboards.com and once you put some fuses on +5v and +12v (which you should do anyway no matter what PSU you purchase), there's really nothing wrong with them.
