I asked Shou and he said he believes they do. They probably take another off the shelf and just load the data on.

Pass, it's what I was told. Maybe they're at the point of cannibalising them to repair. They seem reasonably reliable aside from the colour transistors.

..not much on em that can go wrong, i imagine if youre sitting on all the data they'd be pretty easy to fix.
