Finally getting round to giving my Jaleco Pony IV the gear it deserves, however, I have to say I am completely out of the loop when it comes to PC specs. WIth that in mind i was wondering if any of you could advise if the following setup would work okay? The plan is to use a mini PC to fit it inside the cab.
Intel 4th Generation Core i5 (4690) 3.5GHz Quad Core Processor 6MB L3 Cache (OEM)
2x Kingston ValueRAM 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Non-ECC 240-pin DIMM Memory Module SR x8
Asus H81I-PLUS Motherboard Core i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron 1150 H81 Mini ITX Gigabit LAN (Integrated Graphics)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB Hard Drive (7200rpm) SATA 64MB (Internal)
CCL Choice 22x DVD+/-RW Drive
Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced Mini ITX Chassis with Aluminum Front Panel (Black)
Corsair CX600M Builder Series 600 Watt ATX Modular Power Supply Unit
+ the ArcadeVGA PCI Express Card too.
The plan is to have the computer running Hyperspin, along with enough power to run stuff like Ikaruga.
I am running a very similar setup as on your first post, and run Ikaruga with no problems using demul, Hyperspin and Windows 7 64 bit Loving groovymame too for these 15khz games!!
