question about baby star and stuff like that

Post by erzane »

Hi guys,
I need a multigame board with I could add my own roms, make updates and put the emulator or my choice
I found that small red one (it seems it's smaller than others and I like its size)

do you have some good tips ?

Where did you find this one? I've had one just like it, and it was really good (running DOS). Too bad there are no MAME versions past 0.106 for DOS.

I am suggesting instead of buying one of those you grab a cheap PC and a J-PAC / JammASD and use GroovyArcade instead.

That's fair enough. Just seems strange you want one to customise, people buying those generally do because they don't want to spend any time on setup.

I had one a cpl of years ago, think it was emphis old unit even.
I sold it cuz it was way too underpowered to run the games i wanted to play and as emphi mentioned I felt kinda limitied by the
MAMEversion it was able to run.
If you just want to play classic 70s and 80s games it prolly will do everything for you but if you want to run newer games it is just too slow.

We all have diffrent desires and im mainly into shooters from this centuary so it might still suit your needs.
