MUGEN

Postby fagin » February 8th, 2010, 11:59 pm

I am sure this is discussing the unwashed on here, but I have just installed and tried it on my Naomi Mame Cab (oh dear another unwashed statement lol) and I am fairly impressed with it. Resolutions run fine at 321x240 and it plays well and is fine with the JVS-PAC interface board.

Not sure else has tried it, but it works fine on a cab.

Just need to fire it off Mamewah frontend and all is dandy.

I remember that. Yeah it's good for a laugh. Some characters are amazingly, painstakingly re/created. Some are a pile of ****.

The engine itself is outstanding tbh. Fairly simple to use and very versatile.

back when i was into mugen i had a build with like 1500 characters....all selectable from either a list interface, or a huge character select screen(icons displayed so tiny you had to highlight to see what each one was)

tbh, when i was into it, i spent more time tweaking my build and adding more characters and stages than i did playing it
on the loose
