Re: TSOP48 adapter for TOP3000

I don't have any answer I'm afraid, but I'd like to bump this as well. I too have a TOPS-3000 burner, which I like and would like to not have to replace. But just like you I'm looking for those SOP/TSOP converters. So far w/o any luck :problem:

Re: Finally got a cab!

...but strangely the instruction text comes up in Spanish. I think this is board-dependent, or perhaps there is a dipswitch setting? MVS's are region dependent and the region is controlled by the BIOS so I'd say you've got a EU mobo (Neo Bomberman's in Spanish on EU mobo's). http://i195.photobucket...

Re: ST-V scans/wiki

Good idea  Will try to send you some pics next week (if still needed). http://i820.photobucket.com/albums/zz130/ifog/th_STV_Cards.jpg For STV system, bootleg are mostly Cotton games and RSG. Ratio bootleg/original for Cotton Boomerang is just unbelievable  . Wow! That's a huge pile of...

Re: ST-V scans/wiki

Weee :awe: in less than a week we've got more than 23 titles added to the wiki. Much thanks to Turntablism :-D :slowclap: Some only got pictures of bootleg carts and some need confirmation is they're genuine or boot, but still awesome. Re: ST-V scans/wiki

I have Souky, Dynamite Deka and RSG and would be happy to help if needed. Much appreciated :awe: Have a look at the carts already on the wiki and if your carts differ in any way from them please upload them. One thing we'd like to figure out if there's different versions or revisions of the carts. ...

Re: ST-V scans/wiki

Here's images of my 12 Japanese carts. I've got a Decathlete somewhere, not sure on the region of it, probably Euro. Looks like you've got images of most of them already, but maybe some will come in useful. I've also linked to your wiki in my blog, hope you don't mind! Nicely laid out in my blog: h...

Re: ST-V scans/wiki

Honestly, I don't know if bootlegging has been a big problem, other than for the Cotton titles (2 and Boomerang). Definitely not as widespread as among the MVS's at least. Most of the games have been fairly cheap and easily available but so far we've spotted bootlegs of Terra Diver, Steep Slope Slid...

ST-V scans/wiki

Since I've been hunting for PCB scans of ST-V titles lately I realized there's not much out there. So, I borrowed the idea from the MVS scans site and created an ST-V wiki for collecting pictures of ST-V carts and PCB's. I know there's a few wikis covering the ST-V on the Intertubes but I thought it...

Re: Glitchy Gunbird 2

From the look of it, it could be loose joints, but it could also be RAM, one EPROM or maybe some TTL. EDIT: hard to say without making some measurement. Thanks. I'm not in any way experienced when it comes to troubleshooting PCB's but I'm eager to learn :awe: Only tools I've got are a multimeter an...

Glitchy Gunbird 2

I have a Gunbird 2 PCB that's been working ok, but when I started it today the backgrounds looked strange in both attract mode and in stage 1-5. Stages 1-1 to 1-4 seems ok though. Anyone got any idea what this might depend on? 5 V line is ok and I've tried pressing the IC's on the board but no succe...
