Re: Ketsui, Espgaluda and Daioujou Battery

I'd probably try to do it with a helper battery instead of doing it while powered on.

DOJ BL? It's definitely a suicide battery. However, desuicide roms are available for it:

Yes. Disconnect both connectors and you can pull out the monitor.

Re: Aero City JAMMA Harness, PSU, and Power Supply?

Looks similar to JST's VH series:

Honestly, I wouldn't bother replacing the PSU. If you have the know how to do the cap kit, do it. Original Japanese spec PSUs are great quality, and better than most Chinese made crap these days.

Re: Raspberry Pi as SCSI interface for GD-Rom

Just buying a Net Dimm. To CF upgrade a regular DIMM board you to have remove a surface mounted chip, flash a new firmware on it, and then solder it back. Then you have to take the bottom board, swap in it to a Net Dimm, and netboot two more firmware upgrades. Final step is putting the bottom board ...

Get a multimeter and measure your voltages. There's three voltages going in, 3.3V, 5V and 12V.

Re: Little Restauration for OK Baby Cab

Why not just change the connectors to the smaller ones?

Sanwa stopped making buttons with the larger connectors years ago, and I don't think Seimitsu ever even made them.

Not sure what kind of cutter you had in mind, but a sharp hobby knife could probably work. Be careful that you don't scratch the PCB, though.

It's the cart. Clean the edge connector. Pencil eraser and rubbing / isopropyl alcohol works well.

Re: MVS & AES Multi card

On the SD I liked the idea about being able to buy NGdevs games on roms locked to your Multi, though that will never happen i guess. Yeah, that's not going to happen. The only thing NeoSD has going for it is that it can function exactly like a genuine cart, even in a multislot. If the NeoSD guys ar...

Re: Raspberry Pi as SCSI interface for GD-Rom

Even though the DIMM board uses a SCSI connector it's not actually a SCSI interface.

You know you can use a compact flash card adapter instead of a GD drive if you update the firmware? (admittedly a pretty convoluted process on a regular DIMM)
