Re: What's it worth?

I have a beauty Astro City panel that has zero rust, and a unused NOS overlay (still has the protective film on it). I bought the NOS overlay a while back, and it took me a while to find a matching panel (CQN-2004). I was able to find one not too long ago, and have restored it, i.e rust-treated and ...

Re: Canadian in London -- gamer things to check out?

Thanks gents! I actually got there pretty late on a weekday so it wasn't busy at all. But it was cool to check it out anyways. While we were in Paris, I was able to check out Arcade Street, and that place was also pretty awesome. Again, I went during a non-peak time but I did get to play 4 very frie...

Re: Canadian in London -- gamer things to check out?

Lol, yeah he gave me a good beating. :D
Though my ST skills are really rusty. I kept catching myself doing focus cancels and double-tap dashes. Damn SF4 has ruined me.

Re: Canadian in London -- gamer things to check out?

Thanks gents! I ended up going to HOG, near North Acton tube station (I love the subway system here, but during rush hours it's madness). Unfortunately we got there late, on a Tuesday, and they were close to closing. But I did get to play a few rounds of ST with a few guys there. I wish I had more t...

Re: Canadian in London -- gamer things to check out?

Also, I'm hoping to come home with a good SCART switcher that can handle at least 4 inputs and can output to 2 displays, like a Shinybow or Keene Commander. Are there places that sell these there, or are they hard to come by?

Canadian in London -- gamer things to check out?

My wife and I are heading to London soon, for the first time, and will have some time to look around the city after all our sightseeing. I was hoping to get some info from you fine folks as to what gamer friendly things to check out in the city. I'm looking for recommendations for Arcades or Barcade...

Re: New SFIV Update

I was recently reminiscing on using Blanka online. He has a lot of good dummy moves and bluffs to really wind up your opponent. Combined with confusion tactics from hard to predict speed and priority that have been fine tuned with pure evil. There's also false-sense-of-security moves, such as the '...

Re: What's it worth?

I have an official Sega NOS 2L12B overlay. Unused, still has the protective film on it. Anyone know what it's worth these days?

Urgh. Hopefully that's not par for the course. Other than this thread I've done zero reading about how these have generally been received and what teething problems/hardware issues folks are experiencing. What's the the general consensus? I've thick skin so please feel free to tell me to F off, sto...

Re: Are there any Superguns that work with a Madcatz Fightst

undamned, over at the SRK forum has been developing a USB --> discrete signal board that can do what you're looking for. He has incorporated it into his UD-CPS2 super-guns, which you can just connect your present day USB fight-sticks to. A few of us have been bugging him to make this product availab...

Re: GCW Zero

Yeah Franny, I chose the console only backing which is probably why I got mine early(ish).

And you're right, it's really early for this device but its off to a great start. I'm expecting some great developments out of this thing! As long as Justin can get these orders out quick. :problem:

Re: GCW Zero

Well, looks like the USB on mine is borked. I've not seen any other reports of this so assume a rare problem. Not sent it back yet, waiting for Justin to finish his remote diagnosis ;) Did you happen to try out another cable? I was having a flaky time getting my PC to connect to my GCW, but I event...
